FAQs

How long will it take for my memorial to be completed?

The majority of memorial headstones are completed within approximately 6-8 weeks.

Is it possible to just remove/erect a stone from a cemetery/churchyard immediately?

We are bound by the regulations governing cemeteries/churchyards. No work can proceed on headstones until we have officially obtained permission from the regulatory body for that particular cemetery/churchyard.

Why does a headstone need an anchor system?

In the interest of health and safety, new regulations (issued in 2005) for cemeteries and churchyards now require headstones to be fixed with an anchor system approved by the National Association of Monumental Masons. This system is designed to allow headstones to move, but to prevent them from toppling over completely.

When do I need to pay?

With new memorials, we will provide a full estimate of all the memorial costs and once this has been approved. We require a 50% deposit in order to proceed with the order. You will be invoiced for the balance once the memorial has been completed and fitted.
